Way To Battle

When I looked at the chalk work of our 7 and 9 year olds from Brady’s room on the 12th floor of the oncology unit, God revealed something to me.

Way to battle. It isn’t just for Brady, it’s for everyone.

Way to battle the cancer, the depression, the anxiety, the addiction, the loneliness, the insecurity, the _________, you fill in the blank.

From day 1 we asked God to make a way for us to glorify Him through Brady’s diagnosis. For us to share God’s love to those around us in the midst of this trial. For us to be able to share hope and light in situations that feel dark and hopeless. For our lives to point those to the unconditional love of Our Father in Heaven. Which isn't always easy, especially when your child’s life hangs in the balance.

So while this page is mostly going to be focused on Brady and our family’s journey through this extremely rare leukemia diagnosis, we will also be looking for ways to share God’s love and truth to others in the midst.

Thank you to everyone for joining us as we try to be “Brave like Brady” and we take steps to battle every day.

“Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”
